Free Patterns, Farmer's Wife Quilt, Hockney's Pink Tree, Apple Blossoms from Canadian Needle Nana

Above is David Hockney's Pink tree Study for Cherry Blossom. Here at Art Finder you can read 5 interesting facts about David. Joyous and colourful are two words often used to describe his work. It reminded me of the pretty apple blossoms I found on forgotten and very elderly apple trees at the farm. May 24, 2016.

Farmer's Wife 1930s QAL from Crafty Blossom

I have to admit, I've been lousy with keeping up with my blocks for the Farmer's Wife 1930s  quilt along. Although, I'm not certain why (aside from being distracted with other demands). The patterns for these blocks are flawless and total dreamboats to work with! The seams match up so nicely. I love that, especially since I don't generally follow the rules when it comes to quilt patterns.
